Our Beginning Crochet series continues featuring a timely V-Stitch Market Bag that will be great for summer. This is easy to make and beginner friendly. Supplies: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn (suggest Caron Cotton Cake, 530 yard skein or Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Sugarwheel Cotton 2 335 yard skeins) yarn and a size "H" (5mm) crochet hook. Be sure to purchase at least 500 yards and cotton is preferred over acrylic. Scissors and a yarn needle are helpful but I have ones you can borrow. I will provide stitch markers.
Note: when selecting your yarn I recommend against black or dark blue as it is more difficult to identify the individual stitches for beginners. Also, the size of this bag is customizable so if you would like a larger one you may need to buy additional yarn.
