Christmas Market - Vendor information

Sylacauga Parks & Recreation is thrilled to present our inaugural Christmas Market on Saturday, November 22, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the J. Craig Smith Community Center. We invite vendors to be part of this festive shopping experience by offering Christmas-themed and gift-worthy merchandise to the community.

Vendor categories include Crafts & Gifts, Apparel, Jewelry & Accessories, Food & Beverage, Seasonal/Holiday Decor, Art, Beauty/Health/Body, Children’s, Pets, and Services. Each vendor will be provided with a 10x10 booth space for $25, with the option to reserve an additional space for $20. For the first 35 vendors, one 8-foot rectangular table will be available upon request. If your booth requires access to electricity, please indicate this during registration so that accommodations can be made.

To enhance the holiday atmosphere, we encourage all vendors to decorate their booths in the spirit of the season. A special event business license will be provided by Sylacauga Parks & Recreation, so a separate city business license is not required for participation. However, any vendor planning to sell food must submit proof of health authorization from an Alabama county health department.

Booth setup will be available on Friday, November 21, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday, November 22, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM during which time vendors may request WiFi access. We prefer for vendors to load-in as much merchandise as possible on Friday, November 21. We do have carts on site to assist with loading in your merchandise; however, those are limited. If you have a folding wagon or dolly, we highly recommend bringing one should we run out of carts during the time of your load-in. On the day of the event, we ask vendors to kindly park in the parking lot near the Maxye Veazey Senior Center to allow guests to park closer to the front entrance. A diagram will be provided closer to the event.

Vendor registration and fee payment can be completed online at Sylacauga.Recdesk.com, by phone at 256.249.8561, or in person at the J. Craig Smith Community Center using cash, card, or check. In the case of cancellation by the vendor, the vendor fee will be non-refundable.

Sylacauga Parks & Recreation reserves the right to decline any vendor application at its discretion in order to maintain the quality, diversity, and holiday theme of the event.
